Six conference institutions are represented in the 2025-26 OCCAC women’s basketball annual awards, including Cuyahoga Community College becoming home to both the Player and Coach of the Year honorees.
Hocking Women’s Basketball captured its 20th win of the season, handing Terra State a 74-58 defeat. Carmyn Woods was the top factor in their victory, posting a 25-point, 10-rebound double-double to earn OCCAC Player of the Week recognition.
RaKiya Collier (Terra State) and Malcom Curry (Edison State) are representing the conference as the OCCAC Basketball Players of the Week for Feb. 16-22.

Meanwhile, La’Nia Moore (Cuyahoga) is back for the third consecutive week and fourth time this season, sharing this week’s laurel with the last honoree not named La’Nia Moore to win the award, in Liv Mullins (Owens) who is now a two-time winner.

Frank Latham (Edison State) and La’Nia Moore (Cuyahoga) concluded November with big-time performances worthy of OCCAC Player of the Week recognition for Nov. 24-30. Lathem collects his first such honor while Moore brings home her second award in the last four weeks.
